April 13th Scratch Night Writers!

We had so many fantastic submissions and are finally ready to introduce the writers! These five will have excerpts from their pieces showcased at our next Play Full scratch night in April. We hope you're as excited as we are to see how their work is developing!

Dylan Russell
Dylan is a writer who specialises in dark yet riveting, futuristic pieces which question the future and challenge reality with a funny off-the-wall energy. His writing focuses on characters who experience solitude in its most extreme forms.

Erin Elkin
Erin has worked in theatre and film, predominantly as an actor, and is now branching out after writing for Children’s Theatre productions.

Rennie Clark
Rennie Clark is an actor and deviser who has worked with theatres in London and across Scotland. He is currently developing his first play as a writer

Sara Masciotra-Milstein
A recent graduate of the MLitt Playwriting and Dramaturgy course at the University of Glasgow, Sara's writing focuses on hyphenated identities, sexuality, faith, memories, and friendship. Her one-woman show Jew(ish) featured in the digital Ludlow Fringe Festival and won the York University Creative Writing Award for Best Play (2021).

Wren Brian
Wren is a playwright dedicated to creating characters that can be played by actors of any gender, ancestry, ability, and/or age while exploring thought-provoking themes.
