Come to a Play Full event

Play Full Theatre offers opportunities for emerging artists to develop their skills by creating work together in a collaborative environment. We produce events that showcase new writing, non-traditional theatre and other types of performance, and foster relationships between emerging creatives. From scratch nights to open mics, these are fun and informal events for anyone who loves theatre. Hope to see you in the audience soon!

Play Full: Fringe Test Night

July 13th offered a sneak peek at some of the fantastic work being created locally for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2023 in the Brian Cox Studio Theatre at The Boardwalk (Impact Arts).

Event line-up included:

Play Full Open Mic

We hosted our first open mic at Dram in Glasgow on 13th May 2023! The night featured an eclectic mix of performances by emerging local talent.

Featuring performers including Lexi Crockford, Jessica Massey, Michelah Desnai, Christie Gourlay, April Scott, Lara Delmage and Lee Ian Moffat.

Scratch Night 2

We headed to The Griffin in Glasgow on 13th April 2023 for our second Play Full Scratch Night. It was another sold out event and offered opportunities for even more creatives.

The night featured work by the following artists:

Scratch Night 1

Our first Play Full Scratch Night took place at the Old Hairdressers in Glasgow on 26th January 2023. It was a sold out event and generated a lot of great feedback and conversations. Several of the scenes have gone on to be presented in other scratch nights and other opportunities!
